When it comes to legacy, we know that it takes more than just time and dedication. Over the past three generations our family has built a strong real estate brokerage on the simple premise that it takes a team to build a legacy.
From inception to current day, our brokerage’s mission to define and deliver the gold standard in Canadian real estate has been backed by a team of elite agents who’ve experienced the benefits of a family-run brokerage invested in their success.
The foundations of our brokerage are rooted in the legacy of our grandfather Percy Fulton, who started his career in real estate in 1954, selling resale and new homes. In 1977 he opened Century 21 Percy Fulton Ltd, one of Century 21’s first franchise offices in Canada.
With a goal of providing outstanding service to customers and a great place to work for agents, Percy onboarded 22 agents and was later joined by our father, Clare Fulton, in 1986. In1988 Clare took ownership of the brokerage from our grandfather, continuing the Fulton real estate legacy.
Under the leadership of Clare our brokerage has thrived. He’s doubled the number of agents despite a number of recessions, opened offices across Durham Region and Toronto, and in 1990 received one of the highest real estate achievements by becoming the #1 Century 21 office in Canada. Our father’s vision of combining superior real estate standards with training targeted at enhancing the performance of Century 21 Percy Fulton agents resulted in the brokerage maintaining its #1 position as the top Century 21 office in Canada for 25 years and being named #1 Century 21 office in the world for 3 consecutive years.
With real estate deep our blood, and the memory of our father accepting his award for being the #1 Century 21 brokerage in the world etched onto our hearts, we (Carly, Katelyn and Paige) knew being part of brokerage was inevitable. Against the wishes of our father, we joined the brokerage in 2016 after working extensively with a business consultant to further cultivate our entrepreneurial passion and ensure we were ready. Building on the successes of our grandfather and father, we’ve integrated their tried and tested practices with new innovative ideas to keep the brokerage competitive in the market and appealing to diverse customers both locally and abroad.
Our brokerage’s success has been further propelled by our novel approach to real estate that puts agents at the center, incorporates technological enhancements that simplify administrative tasks, and integrates active mentoring and coaching to elevate an agent’s expertise. We know that the success of our brokerage is dependent on the success of our agents. Which is why we’ve created a 24/7 full-service brokerage that cares just as much about building the legacies of our agents as we do our own family. Our brokerage is professionally managed by a team of seasoned experts, administrators and leaders, who ensure our agents are supported on every deal from listing to close. We are dedicated to maintaining a traditional full-service brokerage that helps agents win by positioning them for success in an ever changing real estate market.
From a handful of agents in 1977 to over 450 in 2022, and numerous awards highlighting our success, our family’s legacy is still holding strong. With the brokerage going into its 45th year we are more focused than ever on providing a superior level of service to both our agents and customers.
